How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a business analyst I have always been very interested in why individuals resist change, do not follow policy, complain, lack motivation, do not follow through, or do not apply the skills they have been taught. These issues and more create the frustrations business leaders face each day as they are trying to meet business objectives. Having studied human behavior for over 20 years I decided to develop a method, The Empowerment Principles, that would help business leaders bring about an end to the situations with staff that get in the way of the organization reaching their objectives.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Other products and services on the market today are about changing a person's behavior to a behavior that management wants or needs. These other methods fail to develop healthy relationships, instead their methods create more fear and power struggle between staff and management. Our approach, The Empowerment Principles, develops healthy relationships at all levels of the organization. Healthy relationships create respectful, cooperation among all staff to accomplish the objectives of the organization.
