What is your primary product or service?
High end kitchen wares: Cutlery, cookware, bakeware. Kitchen textiles. Coffee and tea makers/accessories. Gadgets. Cutting boards. Small appliances. Gourmet foods, spices, oils, vinegars. Gift registry. Off site cooking classes with onsite classes planned for 2011. Hosting of special events, e.g. bridal showers, client appreciation, etc.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Retail: As a kid stocking shelves for the wonderful old woman who owned the grocery store next door. Background is in business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We highlight the gallery element of making your kitchen beautiful AND functional; often speak of jewelry for the kitchen, and love the opportunity to provide personal service to each guest.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location. Always looking towards the future, and nothing clear yet.

Until street work is complete in Oct 2011, from E. Washington Ave., turn South on Dickinson. Take right at first stop sign, Williamson St. We are in the middle of the block on the right. Park across street in St. Vincents...they have invited area businesses to use their lot. Also park at Lazy Janes, next door, after 3p week days, after 2p weekends. After 15 October, find us at 107 King Street, two doors off the SE corner of the Capitol Square,
