Hello and welcome to Quilting Memories! I’m Sue Vollbrecht of Monona, Wisconsin, which is surrounded by Madison. I’ve been sewing and quilting since I was a teenager and became a full-time longarm machine quilter in 1997, when I opened my business. I started out quilting freehand on my Gammill Classic and have since upgraded to a Statler computerized longarm machine.
Quilting is not just my job, but my life’s passion. I treat every customer quilt as if it were my own. I like to think that my attention to detail and commitment to excellence set me apart. As part of that goal, I make continuing education a priority. I have been fortunate enough to learn from some of the best in the industry and always look forward to learning what’s new and hot!
