How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Kahlal, our company's founder, had a keen interest in computers as a youth. While in high school, his teachers began coming to him to have him teach them how to use their computers and programs and he was often utilized to troubleshoot and solve technology problems at school as well. This fueled his passion for technology and helping people to become empowered using their devices through his assistance and patient education. He gained experience later in the corporate sector and commercial environments, further expanding his skill sets. He took his acquired knowledge and embarked on his own to create Madison Geeks, Inc.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Kahlal's vision for the company is that it will have "All the Geeks You Need" for technology solutions and business services while empowering clients with education to get the most enjoyment and efficiency from the tools available to them.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our headquarters is located in Madison, WI and we are laying the foundation for a second shop in LasVegas, NV.

To Reach our Madison Office: From the Beltline Highway 12/14, exit at Gammon Road and head north. At the intersection of Gammon and Odana Road, turn right/east onto Odana Road. After the car dealership, turn left onto Potomac Lane (6502 Odana is on the left. Turn left into our parking lot and park. Enter the building from the parking lot.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash; Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover credit or debit cards; money orders; and cashier's checks.
Which areas do you service?
We serve all of Dane County and certain surrounding areas. Remote, email and telephone support can be made available to anyone anywhere! Please call us to inquire whether we are able to provide on-site service at your location.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Our company is supported by a strong administrative team. Kahlal "KC" Cunningham is a dedicated leader and representative of Madison Geeks. He creates an atmosphere for employees that encourages growth while maintaining a balance between fun and professionalism. Jody Frechette manages daily operations and staffing, communicating closely with both staff and clients. She also bring a wealth of financial know-how and organization to our company. Cyrene "CyBorg" Lowery is our in-house business consultant, skilled in marketing, branding, graphic design, SEO and social media. She also leads the creation of staff development curriculums and training.
What are your hours of operation?
We are available 24/7 for emergency support, and our office is open from noon to 5:00 Monday through Friday. We provide scheduled service to clients before, during, and after office hours.
